Griffin Oil and Propane has a staff of qualified technicians either employed or on contract that can handle the service needs of our customers. These services pertain to either #2 fuel oil systems or kerosene heaters. Our oil heating service agreement is excellent and includes an essential 15-point clean and safety check. If this routine is done annually, it can help reduce your fuel bills, assure maximum safety, prolong equipment life, and help control unplanned expenses. Other services provided to our customers are automatic keep fill service, metered delivery, 24-hour burner service, budget plans, and discounts for prompt pay and senior citizens.

BP No. 2 Heating Oil - BP No. 2 Heating Oil is refined from selected crudes and is carefully blended to produce a high quality fuel. It conforms to ASTM D-396 Heating Oil specifications and is recommended for use in all domestic or industrial applications requiring a No. 2 Fuel Oil. This oil is blended and additized to ensure good storage stability and to resist rust deposit formation. BP No. 2 Heating Oil also reduces pour point, which aids in the storage and handling at low temperatures.

1-K Kerosene (Clear and dyed) - 1-K Kerosene is a special, highly refined low sulfur kerosene. This kerosene is recommended for use in all non-flue connected (ventless) kerosene burner applications and in wick-fed illuminating lamps. This product meets ASTM D-3699 specifications for 1-K Kerosene and exceeds those for 2-K Kerosene. It also exceeds ASTM D-396 specifications for No. 1 Fuel Oil. 1-K Kerosene is naturally stabile and therefore not additized. It can be stored for long periods of time without degradation and gum formation and has very low sulfur content, which ensures low sulfur dioxide emissions, required in ventless burners.
